General Settings
Account
The account section gives an overview of your Enstore account details and some of your store's key settings. Initially the fields in this section are filled in with the information you entered when you signed up.
Store Handle
Every store has a unique store handle. The store handle is the most important way to identify your web store. Among other places, it's used in the web address for your store.
http://www.enstore.com/[store-handle]The store handle cannot be changed, but you can always sign up to Enstore again with another store handle.
Currency
When you sync Enstore with Checkout or AccountEdge, Enstore is automatically configured to use the currency that you use in Checkout or AccountEdge.
Plan
Enstore comes with several different plans to choose from. Some have lower per-transaction fees, others have lower monthly costs. High revenue businesses can benefit from a monthly subscription with lower transaction costs, while lower volume stores can benefit from a “no sale no pay” plan. You can change or cancel your plan every month.
Contact / Email
This is the email address Enstore uses to contact you. Your monthly bills will be sent here. If you have order notifications switched on, those will be sent to this address as well. This email address is not shown anywhere on your web shop or in emails that Enstore sends to your customers on your behalf.
Notifications
We recommend sending your customers an automatic notification of their orders. Copies to self will be sent to the above email.
Analytics
Enstore uses Google Analytics to track activity on your web store. Google Analytics is simply the best way to track activity, better then we could ever make it, and it's free. It keeps track of all your products, customers and sales, which you can view in convenient graphs on the Analytics site. To be able to use analytics on your web store follow the steps below:
First you'll have to Sign up for Google Analytics
After Signing up you can copy your Analytics ID, shown here in the example on the Google Analytics website.
And paste it here:
Google Analytics is now enabled. You can go back to the Analytics page, login and view your statistics.
Location
Set your store's location to the address where you physically ship your products from. Enstore uses your store's location to calculate shipping costs and tax.
Identity
In the Identity section you can configure your store name and logo.
Store name
Your store name will be shown on all the Enstore pages, in the title and in confirmation emails to customers. In contrast to the store handle, you can change the store name if you want. In some of the default templates the store name will be used as a substitute when a logo is absent. Because the browser can't hyphenate words sometimes long words exceed template boundaries and will look weird. Use spaces in that case.
Logo image
This logo will be used throughout your web store and on confirmation emails. We recommend uploading PNG files, but JPG and GIF are also accepted. PNGs tend to be sharper. Also, we recommend not using transparency in the logo, so people with old browsers can see the logo as it's meant to be. If you do have transparency, try flattening the picture with Photoshop and set the background so it matches the color of your template. The right color codes can be found here.
